Here is What An Eyewitness Saw The Two Lovers Doing Inside The Car Before Sinking To Death In A Dam

A middle-aged man and his lover have been confirmed dead after their car sank into a dam located near Titanic Hotel Juja. The car occupants are said to have arrived at Titanic Hotel yesterday evening.

The two who are said to be lovers had packed their car a few meters from the dam as they enjoyed themselves. Reports from the witnesses indicate that they were having happy moments in the car.

“I passed by a few minutes to 6 p.m yesterday and I saw that white vehicle parked near the shores of the dam. I peeped through the mirror and all I could see is laughter as there was intimacy,” one of the witnesses remarked. The car sunk into the dam while they were inside.

Attempts to rescue them alive proved futile as the woman’s body was retrieved last night and the man’s body was retrieved from the dam in the mid-morning hours.

Ministry of Education Makes the Following Major Announcement

The Ministry of Education, under the Office of the Principal Secretary, and the State Department for Basic Education have provided to the public a new academic calendar for all public and private schools in the country. The calendar program was seriously affected in the year 2020, when Kenya and other world countries were struggling to curb the spread of the Corona virus pandemic. Schools in the country were closed for over one year, resulting in a progressively congested learning calendar in 2021 and 2022.

In a public notice posted on the ministry's official website, the Ministry of Education informs parents, teachers and students in primary and secondary schools that this year's academic calendar will officially commence on January 23 for term one, which takes 13 weeks. The second term with start on 08/05/2023 taking 13 weeks too. There will be short half-term breaks for terms 1 and 2, each taking 3 days.

The third term will be the shortest, commencing on August 28, 2022, and running for 10 weeks with no half-term break. KCPE and KCSE examinations have been scheduled to commence on November 6, 2023, and November 10, 2023, respectively.

"As you are aware the school calendar was disrupted due to COVID-19 pandemic. However, the calendar will revert back normally in January 2023," part of the notice reads.

The Sim Swap Notorious Criminal Faces the Wrath of Court as The Judge Give the Following Verdict

The police have requested the arrest of Mr. David Mutai, the main suspect in the SIM card swap scam. The prosecution filed an application with the Kiambu court asking to keep the suspect in custody at the Muthaiga police station for another seven days while the investigations continue.

An affidavit filed by the investigator only specifies that Kinyua said it was necessary to detain the suspect for seven days. David Mutai, aka Hillary Langat Matindwet. He said that in seven days, detectives will check the SIM card and invite the public to testify.

According to the affidavit, the suspect's life would be in danger if he were released by the court. He said when the suspect was arrested in Kericho County, an angry mob nearly slit his throat. Felix Kiprono and Philip Muhizi, the attorneys representing the suspect, opposed the request, saying investigators had made it clear what they wanted to do in seven days.

Kiambu Chief Justice Meresia Opondo ordered the suspect to appear in court at 10 a.m. on Thursday. The incident came just a day after Mutai's lawyer claimed he was tortured and not allowed to eat or drink for two days.

Mr Kiprono said: "Our client was denied food for two days. When we heard about it, we bought some food and brought it to the station, but we were never allowed to see him." He also claimed that officers from the Muthaiga Police Department refused to deliver the meal to the suspect.

He claimed that they were also denied the opportunity to speak to the suspect and were required to seek permission at DCI headquarters on Kiambu Road, where they were denied. The lawyers oppose any attempt by DCI detectives to further detain their clients.

Two days ago, lawyer Me Kiprono shared an image while chatting with the suspect, who appeared to be fine. His other lawyer, Philip Langat, said he had observed behavior that looked like a denial of rights.

"The current government has always insisted that the rule of law must be respected. We will obey the law and seek justice without fear or favor," he said.

He said their client's case was a perfect example of being convicted without going to trial.

Three days ago, DCI said in a statement that it had arrested the suspect it alleged was behind the SIM swap organization Mulot. Mr. Mutai was discovered by members, which led to his arrest in KK

The suspect was involved in an incident in which a lawmaker lost 941,000 shillings while out of the country on official duties. This happens from December 1 to 2, 2022.
